On Common Activities

Prayer…

… is the ability to beseech one of the many gods along the god river to intercede on your behalf. If you believe in something hard enough, you tend to attribute any and all tidbits of luck to the strength of your belief. (Success on this check means that the GM will make the situation slightly better for you. The GM determines the exact nature of this.)

Sorcery…

… is the ability to perform rote hedge magics that are not spells in the strictest sense. If you need to squat, cluck like a chicken, and face North to produce a magical effect (and no spell slots are used) then it is likely a type of sorcery.
